Wheelchairs
Wheelchair evaluations are provided by experienced RESNA-Certified Assistive Technology Professionals. An ATP is trained and certified to analyze the needs of consumers with disabilities, assist in the selection of appropriate assistive technology and provide training in the use of selected devices.
Complex Power Mobility
There are several options available in adult and pediatric power mobility. Physical considerations include posture, strength, sensation, visual acuity and perception, and the ability to learn how to use the chair safely.
Seating and Positioning
Choosing the frame of the wheelchair is only the first step in selecting your mobility system. Your seating needs may be met by a simple seat cushion or they may require a specialized custom-molded seat/back, a solid back support and/or additional positioning components.
